About Safe Climbing

Safe Climbing is an Erasmus+ project that aims to increase safety for people that work with chainsaws and climbing in trees as well as produce quality study material for climbing courses. The countries involved in the project are Iceland, Denmark and Slovenia.
During the course of the project 15-20 students from the participating countries will be trained in climbing and using a chainsaw to fell and/or prune large trees. Some of them will go on to be climbing teachers in their home countries in the next few years.
